Shingles Vaccine Study

Nearly1 million cases of Shingles occur in the United States every year. Your risk of getting Shingles increases with age – about 50% of shingles cases occur in people 60 years of age or older.
Fortunately, vaccines designed to protect people against shingles are now available.
This study is evaluating a new investigational shingles vaccine specifically designed to better protect people that are 70 years of age and older.
Who qualifies?
You may qualify if you are 70 years of age or older, have not had shingles and have never received a shingles vaccine
Qualified participants receive:
- Study-related physician’s care, exams and close monitoring
- Study vaccine and lab tests
- Compensation for time and travel
